How Convicted Is Your Belief System?

The magic begins when you believe you can do something. When you believe that something is actually possible, you will be amazed as to how the ways to do and accomplish them will start to come to you. This is when the giant in you is both awakened and unleashed to go out and work for you. This is the opportunity God has been waiting for to show His might. The impossible becomes possible. Remember one thing here, there is a big difference between truly believing and just saying shallowly or superficially that you believe.

1% Doubt You Are Out!

If the belief is not deep, honest, and sincere, you will not profit from it. When you truly believe, and have no doubt of any kind then and only then will you benefit from that kind of belief system. Otherwise, you will never get it.

Example of a convicted mindset!

Let me again give you an example. I knew I wanted to write my first book – ‘How to Succeed Against All Odds’ to share with the world what I have learned and experienced so that one or two people out there, can do something constructive for themselves or for someone else. My mind was made up and no one can talk me out of it and I moved forward toward the mark of becoming a publisher.

The Literary World is a Jungle!

I know that the literary world is a jungle, scary and without the name they are familiar with, is a big risk. Profoundly though, the worst of the matter was how could this be possible when I did not have the money to publish it and did not know anyone who could help me. I was not going to throw myself into the hands of a publishing company that may never give the book a chance.

Against All the Odds, take action!

Despite all these odds, I took the giant step and started writing the book, with a strong belief that God will make a way. In the process, I began to research the publishing industry and based on that research and confidence in God and myself, I decided to find creative ways to get the book published.

Never Give Your Power Away!

In order not to give people or publishing companies the power to determine my destiny, or opportunity to reject my work and me, I decided to create our own publishing company under our parenting company “JAHS” Enterprises.

JAHS Publishing Group is Born!

Hence, JAHS Publishing Group was born. In the process, we created our own publishing house and made sure it met the same qualifications of any major publishing house. The only thing we do not have now is the name recognition. This will come with time as I am determined to make sure of it as we did with our other companies. After all, the only way to get known is to be out there to do a very good professional job, and over time, you will be like those that are known today.

Whatever It Takes Is The Rule Of Engagement!

Because I believed that I would get it published no matter what and within the time frame I wanted, I buried myself in the process of becoming a publisher and got it done. This limited how the book would be published and distributed.

When The Appointed Hour Comes, The Universe Will Conspire in Your Favor!

What I believed is that if the book is good, at some point, some well known publisher would pick it up. And even if then it did not, it is okay too. And even if they did not, that is perfectly okay because I am still a success because I accomplished what I set out to do in the first place. I took the chance even in how we would distribute it. That was not a problem either because there are a lot of ways one can use to market a product especially in this technological era.

Creatively Device Channels For Your Success!

Some of my options included sending the book to the news media, (press releases about the book) and touring and speaking at places that included churches which is one of the most powerful means. Further, if it is the will of God, it will get in the right hands. And if it is not, that is okay too because at the end of writing this book I will have grown into a stronger human being. I also feel more fulfilled and empowered again, and that in it self, is an accomplishment.

Give It All You Have, In Time, It Will Yield Benefit!

I believe that if you do your part and use everything that you have and give it all you have, you have done all you are supposed to do and the rest is up to God, and in the end it will work out. Truly, when you experience this, you will feel spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially fulfilled, and that “peace that surpasses all understanding” is present in you. The outcome at that point is somewhat irrelevant.

The ONE Who truly Reward Notices!

The underlying thought here is the fact that none of my work is in vain. I truly believe that in due course, God will reward me accordingly in His own way and time. Even if man does not recognize and appreciate what I have done or am doing God in Heaven knows and God will do it at His own time, which often is the best time. Again, this is where your strong faith in your belief system must be your backbone to carry you through the tough times.

Passing It Forward!

I remember when one of our members came to talk to me about starting her own business. During the conversation, I told her that she would need to save or have start capital to keep her afloat for at least six months to a year in the first year of business, as she should expect not to have money for a very long time as we had experienced. I told her how I had gone for several years without money per se and yet had not felt deprived. In fact, I pride myself in the lack thereof.

It Is Spiritually Deep- Get It!

Again, if you have not mentally and spiritually emancipated and revolutionized, you may not understand what I am saying or even have an appreciation for what I am saying. But what I did in those years was to bury myself in the business we started and believed strongly that in the long run it would be well worth it. The customer asked me “how do you do it?” I told her it was through the grace of God because my husband worked two jobs to put food on our table and a roof over our heads until we were able to break through in our business since we did not have working capital.

Do It Even If You Knew going In That It Would Be Difficult!

We knew going in it was going to be pure hell for several years to come. And it certainly was. Nonetheless, I am grateful for every single experience I had in the process. It is those hard and unbearable times that produced the unstoppable person that I am today. The customer then asked me “how do you keep rendering services without immediate results?”

Passion + Service (Life Of Significance)= Success!

I told her that I believe if you pursue your passion and service first that money will come naturally if that is what God’s intentions are for you and if not, you will know in time. Treat people right, respect them, give them more than they expect, but be sure not to be taken for granted by anyone. Then you know your job is done and your reward is surely to come.
